Preferred Private Rooms in NYC

The shortlist from my latest deep dive on private NYC dining rooms:

  • Barbuto | They offer a more intimate private option or an open dining setup in a section of the restaurant.

  • Frank + Supper | Frank Prisinzano’s group is a dream for coordinating events. Highly communicative and flexible with their several concepts as venue options.

  • Freemans | They offer several spaces for different group sizes.

  • Gage and Tollner | A superior steakhouse ambiance. This is an ideal spot for a combo of young and old attendees. + They offer several spaces for different group sizes.

  • il Buco | Hard to beat if you’re with a group open to very dim lighting.

  • L’Artusi | Bright and polished. + They offer several spaces for different group sizes.

  • Le Rock | While quite pricey, you get what you pay for. After much research, I opted for this venue for a party of 14.

  • Lord’s | If you have a small-ish group of hip, open-minded eaters, this is a great move. They also rent out Dame for private events.

  • The Musket Room + Raf’s | If you’re looking for a larger venue (25-35 people), best to start here.

  • Palma | Many lovely options, especially for smaller groups. Any time of day, I would recommend for a more feminine vibe.

The end to a perfect evening at Le Rock’s private dining room
